Shocking images revealed the plane operated by Senegalese carrier Transair nestled in the dirt with a gaping hole in the left engine that was covered in firefighting foam in the aftermath of the blaze. Flights were suspended at the Blaise Diagne airport close to the capital city Dakar as emergency crews rushed to evacuate the passengers, several of whom are believed to have sustained injuries - though no deaths have been reported.

The 19-year-old victim is seen in a different section of the new clips telling cops how she felt 'violated' by the unsanctioned display. The new footage was filmed at the sheriff's office the following day, with both of the girl's faces censored to protect their privacy.

The youngest son of former president Donald Trump, Barron, is set to make his first major foray into politics after he was chosen to serve as the delegate for Florida to the Republican National Convention before he has even graduated from high school.  Barron, who only turned 18 in March, was chosen as one of the state's 41 at-large delegates to the national gathering of Republicans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in mid-July.  He will be one of the estimated 2,429 delegates who are expected to officially nominate his father as the Republican candidate for the 2024 race. 

Engoron ordered former President Donald Trump in March to pay a $454 million judgement after 30 lenders turned him away. Trump - who frequently referred to Engoron as 'crazed' and 'corrupt' - posted $175 million in bond before a deadline to avoid asset seizure as he appeals the ruling. Adam Leitman Bailey (pictured left), a New York real estate attorney, said at the time of the ruling in public that he spoke to Judge Engoron three weeks before the ruling and told him to 'get it right.'

The unnatural deaths in Natrona County began last fall, and have continued into the new year. Coroner Jim Whipps on Tuesday urged county commissioners to address the issue, after 12 people, mostly young adults, killed themselves over the past four months. 'If you extrapolate that out, that is like 36 to 40 suicides that I can expect this year,' five-year vet Whipps said. That would break a record set in 2022, he pointed out - when 32 people Natrona County committed suicide. The root cause, he said, remains unknown -  leaving citizens of county seat Casper concerned. The town is where a 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death as he tried to protect his girlfriend from two teens at a mall - a blow to the tight-knit community.

Aayden Gallagher, who identifies as a girl, dominated in the Portland Interscholastic League Championship Semi-Finals on Wednesday. Gallagher, a sophomore at McDaniel High School, was cleared to participate in the semi-finals on May 7 and competed in both the girls varsity 200m and 400m races. The 10th grader took first place in the girls 400 meter varsity run and second place in the 200 meter race, qualifying her for the finals today at Lincoln High School. If she places in the top two in any of today's events, Gallagher will move on to compete in the Oregon State Championships.

A Santa Clara County jury sided with two teens on claims concerning breach of oral contract and lack of due process after they were forced to withdraw from Saint Francis High School over 'blackface' accusations. The former students, identified as A.H. and H.H., sued the school in 2020 after a photo of them sporting acne face masks circulated throughout the community. The boys were pressured into withdrawing, rather than facing expulsion, and were promised that any mentions of disciplinary action would be scrubbed from their record. However, the school principal later went back on her promise.

A group of migrants in Denver created a list of 13 demands that they want the city to meet in order for them to agree to move off the street and into shelters. The city has made it clear that they will continue to offer services to migrants who transition to shelters. The list asked for better food, working permits, privacy, free immigration lawyers, and more.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made her motion to oust Speaker Mike Johnson privileged on Wednesday evening, prompting a frenzied vote on whether or not to fire him within two legislative days. The movement came after four plus hours of meetings between Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and the speaker where they  laid out a list of demands for Speaker Mike Johnson. 'Speaker Johnson has not lived up to a single one of his self-imposed tenets,' Greene said.

The gambling scandal engulfing Shohei Ohtani took yet another bizarre twist on Wednesday, when it was reported that his former interpreter Ippei Mizuhara was wiring money to reality TV star Ryan Boyajian.  According to ESPN, Boyajian - who currently stars in Bravo's reality TV series 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' - is the bookmaker's associate to whom Mizuhara sent funds to pay off gambling debts.  Mizuhara has opted to plead guilty to bank fraud after allegedly stealing $17million from the Dodgers star, the Central District of California's Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday.

Meteorologists have warned that a wave of dangerous storms are set to tear through the South today, just a day after a series of killer tornados claimed three lives as they ripped parts of Tennessee and North Carolina up yesterday.  Amid Wednesday's storms, the National Weather Service continued issuing tornado warnings that stretch past midnight in North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri and Kentucky.  Parts of Arkansas and Mississippi were also under a tornado watch through the pre-dawn hours, according to a map it published as part of its warnings. 

Drew Barrymore has listed her lavish Hamptons estate, which was converted from a 1920 barn, for an eye-watering $8.45 million. The 49-year-old movie star acquired the sprawling property in Sagaponack, New York in 2019 and was thought to have paid $5.5 million. She has since embarked on a renovation of the 1.7-acre property, which is located in an area lush with trees and gardens less than a mile from the beach. 

Wisconsin teacher Madison Bergmann (left), 24, allegedly rubbed an 11-year-old's thigh and calves during independent reading time and moved his desk out of view of the other students. She has been charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13. The victim told police that Bergmann kissed him several times in her classroom at River Crest Elementary School (inset), either after school or while the other students were at lunch. Bergmann was set to marry her fiancé Sam Hickman (right) in July, but the wedding has been postponed indefinitely.

The sudden resignation of Miss Teen USA has prompted calls from former contestants to release former Utah representative Noelia Voigt of her NDA with the organization. In response to both resignations, former Miss USA titleholders released a joint statement, which was posted by Miss Wisconsin USA 2023 Alexis Loomans on her Instagram , demanding that Voigt be released from the confidentiality NDA clause of her contract 'so that she is free to speak on her experiences and time as Miss USA.' The statement, which claimed to speak on behalf of 'the majority of the members of the Miss USA class of 2023,' spoke in support of Voigt's decision to leave the organization for the sake of her wellbeing.

Christopher Gregor, 31, appeared emotional at times as the court heard sickening details of alleged abuse inflicted on his son Corey, who died in April 2021. Gregor appeared as if he was crying but no tears were visible, sparking speculation that they were faked for sympathy. The New Jersey father also glared at the forensic pathologist as he testified about the child's grisly injuries. Earlier in the trial, the court was shown shocking footage of Gregor forcing his son to run on a treadmill, and picking him up off the floor several times when he fell off the machine. Women shared their heartbreaking experiences of loss and difficult pregnancies while living at Marine Corp base Camp Lejeune in a harrowing new documentary. Military personnel stationed at Camp Lejeune from 1975 to 1985 had at least a 20 percent higher risk for a number of cancers than those stationed elsewhere, federal health officials said. 'When I had her, they didn't bring her to me right away. I'm thinking in my mind they were trying to prepare me for what she looked like. One nurse said, "I'm going to be honest with you, I've never seen a case like this, so we're going to call in some specialists,"' said Ann Johnson, the wife of a military member.

The massive macaque suffered a myriad of weight-related illnesses before his death at the Crystal Pet Hospital in Thailand on May 6. Wildlife officials have accused the family of killing the monkey with kindness, feeding him junk food whenever he wanted and allowing him to become a tourist attraction at their Bangkok market stall. The famous primate was taken from the market three years ago as officials worried about his health, and placed him into a 'fat camp', where he was put on a rigorous diet. But the health kick failed to save Godzilla, and he was reunited with his owner as he lay in hospital, who cared for him in his final days.

A traveler has warned sightseers against staying at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The content creator, who goes by PinkVenomGirl on TikTok, posted about her unfortunate experience staying at the hotel.
